Gift of Light — a quiet offering, and a gentle return to the self

When I paint, I don’t plan. I don’t sketch.

Instead, I enter a space of quiet — like a conversation with myself that has no words.

The lines come as I breathe. The colors move with my inner voice.

Gift of Light was created in that state — not to express a specific object,

but to offer a space.

These days, many people are busy surviving — rushing through one task to the next.

We forget to ask ourselves, "How am I, really?"

This painting is not about me.

It’s for the viewer — to pause, to slow down,

to stand before it and feel their own presence.

Maybe the abstract shape reminds you of something. Maybe not.

But I believe that each person carries pieces of themselves they haven’t looked at in a while.

If this painting becomes a mirror — even briefly — I’ll be grateful.

That, to me, is the light I wanted to give.
